Job Description:
Service Designer - Public Sector Digital Transformation If you love designing next-generation digital services that make real impact to 10s of thousands of users monthly, you’ll love this Service Designer opportunity, where you’d lead design on a major 3-year public-sector digital transformation.
Salary to £70,000
Location:Liverpool (3 days on-site for first 6 months, then 2 days) + Hybrid
Clearance: SC-clearable
Offices: Liverpool + London
What You’ll Do *You’ll lead service design across Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live for a high-impact national transformation.
*You’ll have autonomy over service blueprints, user journeys and ecosystem maps
*You’ll oversee co-design workshops and turn user insights into service improvements.
*You’ll support GDS service assessments and champion user-centred design.
What We Need *Strong experience designing services in the UK public sector.
*Solid understanding of the GDS Service Standard.
*Confident working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
*SC-clearable.
