Job Description:
Class 1 driver required - late AM/PM driver
Rapier Employment are looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Didcot.
** This is a great opportunity for someone who has held their C+E licence for 6 months **
Role: Class 1 Driver
Pay: £17.35 - £19.00 per hour - overtime after 45 hours
Hours: Starts between 11:00 & 18:00
Days: Site operate 24/7. Weekday ANDweekend availability needed
Job includes:
*Transport goods between different locations, ensuring efficient delivery schedules
*Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for trunking operations, adhering to company policies
*Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues
*Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details
*Communicate effectively with the transportation team and other drivers to coordinate trunking operations
What you’ll need:
*Held C+E licence for 6 months minimum
*No more than 6 points on your licence
*Strong knowledge of road safety and excellent driving skills
*Available to work weekdays and weekends
*Full UK licence, valid CPC card and digital tacho card
