Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Assistant:
*Generate and distribute invoices for POS, events, accommodation and corporate clients.
*Validate billing information sourced from EPOS and CRM platforms to ensure accuracy
*Maintain thorough and organised documentation to meet audit standards.
*Assist in analysing complex billing items, including adjustments and corrections.
*Compile daily sales summaries for management review.
*Track and report exceptions, cancellations, amendments and outstanding balances.
*Contribute to monthly billing cycles and support revenue reporting activities.
*Assist in enhancing billing processes through workflow and reporting automation.
*Identify recurring billing challenges and propose improvement measures.
* Support system upgrades, testing phases and broader automation projects.
*Work closely with Operations, Events and Sales teams to resolve billing queries.
*Escalate advanced or unresolved issues to the Billing Manager when necessary.
* Ensure all billing activity adheres to accounting standards, VAT rules and revenue recognition policies.
The new Accounts Receivable Assistant should have:
*Some graduate calibre or equivalent qualifications or experience in accounts.
*Strong Excel skills and Microsoft Office skills.
*Experience working in a dynamic environment – i.e. hospitality, retail.
*Experience working in an accounts receivable role.
*Experience using accounting software such as Netsuite or Oracle.
