Job Description:
NJR Recruitment is partnering with a specialist healthcare insurance business that has recently acquired an established portfolio and is launching a Manchester office. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join at an early stage, working closely with one colleague as the office grows. The wider business consists of 26 employees, and the healthcare division is well established.


This role will suit an experienced insurance professional who wants to develop real expertise within the healthcare sector. Full training will be provided on Medical Malpractice and Professional Indemnity, product experience isn’t required.


You will be supporting self-employed medical consultants including surgeons, psychiatrists, orthopaedic and gynaecology specialists, along with other healthcare providers. The environment can be fast-paced and reactive, so you must be confident on the phone, personable and engaging, while still able to focus and deliver accurate work.


Responsibilities of the Account Handler:
*Provide day-to-day servicing of Medical Malpractice and Professional Indemnity policies.
*Manage renewals and obtain quotations from panel insurers.
*Prepare accurate documentation and issue policy documents in line with regulations.
*Process invoicing and take client payments.
*Handle client and insurer queries efficiently and professionally.
*Support delivery of renewal and new business income targets.


What we are looking for:
*To have the right attitude to learn new products and an excellent work ethic.
*Confident, professional telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with medical professionals.
*Highly organised, able to prioritise and work accurately in a reactive setting.
*Proficient with email communication and Microsoft Office.
*Willingness to travel occasionally to London for meetings.
