Reed Accountancy are currently assisting an established client in the Crawley area in the recruitment of a Senior Credit Controller to join their existing team on an initial temp basis. This role involves managing the UK debtors ledger, ensuring efficient debt collection and financial management of customer accounts to minimise overdue debt. The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and work closely with both UK and European teams.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage and oversee the UK debtors ledger.
*Responsible for debt collection and financial management of customer accounts.
*Minimise overdue debt through effective problem solving and providing payment solutions.
*Agree customer balances, clean accounts, and match debt.
*Liaise with the central accounting team to ensure customer accounts are maintained and tasks are not duplicated.
*Report to the UK Finance Director/Operations and collaborate with the European Accounts Receivable team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in credit control management.
*Previous experience working with SAP.
*Strong Excel and analytical skills.
*Strong financial and commercial experience.
*ICM qualification is highly desirable.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Must be adaptable, organised, and self-motivated.
