Job Description:
Are you a skilled and motivated Gas Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity? Due to significant growth and success, a leading building services company on the outskirts of Cambridge is seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to join their expanding team.
This is a mobile role, covering commercial contracts across Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, proactive, and confident working on their own initiative, while delivering exceptional service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
*Service and maintain commercial gas systems (plumbing, heating, and hot water)
*Diagnose faults and repair piping systems, fixtures, and mechanical equipment
*Conduct routine inspections and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
*Complete all site records and documentation accurately, including job sheets, certificates, and risk assessments
*Ensure work is carried out safely and to a high standard
*Procure materials and manage works efficiently
*Multi-task effectively across various technical tasks
*Experience in HVAC and plant systems is a bonus
What we’re looking for:
*Gas Safe Registration and relevant City & Guilds/NVQ Level qualification
*Experience in building services and maintenance roles
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction
*Resourceful, adaptable, and proactive approach
*Valid driving licence
*Asbestos Awareness is advantageous
