A growing retail business with an expanding store and online presence is seeking a Finance Analyst to support commercial reporting, performance analysis, and planning across the organisation.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Analyst will play a key role in delivering timely analysis and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. This is a commercially focused role suited to a finance professional who is qualified or part-qualified and looking to develop within a fast-moving retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Support monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis

*Analyse sales performance, gross margins, and promotional impact

*Monitor stock movements and inventory performance

*Assist with budgeting and reforecasting cycles

*Provide insight into store and channel profitability

*Maintain financial models and reporting tools

*Support balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes

*Contribute to improving reporting accuracy and financial controls

Candidate Profile
*ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or part-qualified

*Experience within retail or a high-volume, multi-site environment

*Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills

*Understanding of margin analysis and stock accounting principles

*Commercially curious with the confidence to engage non-finance stakeholders

*Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
