Maintenance Operative
Location: Banbury
Hours: 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 3pm Friday
Pay Rate: £13.50, rising to £14.41 after the successful qualifying period.
Duration: Temp-to-Perm
Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting for a Maintenance/Yard Operative to join our client on an ongoing assignment in Banbury.
This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you’ll play a key part in supporting refurbishment and upkeep tasks.
Key Responsibilities: *Carrying out general maintenance and refurbishment duties
*Stripping out old fittings and furnishings
*Cleaning and preparing areas for reuse
*Installing, trimming, and replenishing new materials
*Performing varied repair and maintenance tasks as required

*Supporting with refurbishment works to ensure high-quality finishes
*Ensuring work areas are kept tidy and safe
*Working outside in all weather conditions
The Ideal Candidate:
*Previous experience in a maintenance role is advantageous but not essential
*Previous experience with carpentry is an advantage
*Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
*Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
