As a Fire Door Installer at Ark Fire Protection, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of fire doors in various settings, including commercial and residential properties. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential in upholding industry standards and keeping people safe from the threat of fire.
Role Responsibilities
A Fire Door installer plays a critical role in the fire stopping industry, you will be responsible for the completion of installations for current and future fire door contracts.
*Install, repair, and maintain fire doors according to industry standards and regulations.
*Conduct thorough inspections to identify any deficiencies or issues with existing fire doors.
*Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate installations.
*Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times.
*Document work completed, including inspection reports and maintenance records.
*Provide excellent customer service and address client questions or concerns.
Requirements
You’ll be a well presented, approachable and professional, self-starter. Excellent organisation and time management is essential for this role with the ability to work under pressure. Your attention to detail will be thorough and accurate. You must demonstrate effective management and prioritisation of your workload and work to strict deadlines. Must be willing to travel to sites across the UK.
*A minimum of 3 years industry experience.
*Knowledge of fire door standards and regulations.
*A clean UK driving license
*Asbestos awareness
*NVQ level 3 Carpentry
*FIRAS or Qmark Experience (preferred but not essential)
Full time permanent roles available - PAYE with company vehicle
General working hours are Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00.
