*Work with a wide range of clients on everything from day-to-day compliance to more involved advisory projects.
*Take the lead on project delivery, pulling in the right people across the tax team to get the job done well.
*Join client meetings and handle questions with confidence and clarity.
*Bring fresh thinking to client issues. This means spotting opportunities, solving problems, and connecting clients with other teams when it adds value.
*Lead on proposals and pitches, showing prospective clients what the team can do and helping to win new work.
*Build trust by delivering accurate, well-thought-out tax advice and meeting agreed deadlines.
*Support and develop junior colleagues, helping them grow and shape their careers.
Profile
A successful Private Capital Corporate Tax Manager should have:
*Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax, with a solid grasp of international concepts.
*Curiosity about how the wider firm operates and a willingness to build deeper technical and commercial knowledge.
*Confidence managing a varied portfolio and keeping multiple deadlines moving.
*CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualified.
*Experience reviewing work and supporting others’ development in a tax environment.
*A track record of spotting opportunities and getting involved in business development.
