We are recruiting for a Paint Sprayer to join a well-established aerospace manufacturing company based in Sudbury. This is an opportunity to work on precision engineered components within a clean and structured workshop environment.
The role will suit someone with previous industrial paint spraying experience who is comfortable working to high standards and following strict preparation and finishing processes.
The position involves the full finishing cycle from preparation through to final inspection.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm - 40 paid hours a week
Key Responsibilities:
*Preparation of components prior to painting
*Shot blasting and surface preparation
*Masking components ready for spraying
*Mixing and preparing 2-pack polyurethane paints
*Spray painting using air-fed mask in a spray bake oven
*Monitoring curing process and bake cycles
*Final inspection of finished products to quality standards
*Cleaning and maintaining spray equipment at the end of each shift
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
*Wearing PPE including air-fed mask and adhering to all health and safety guidelines
The Ideal Candidate:
*Previous industrial or manufacturing paint spraying experience
*Experience using 2-pack or similar coating systems
*Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing processes
*Able to follow detailed work instructions and quality standards
*Reliable and able to work consistently either in a team or solo working
*Good attention to detail and pride in quality of work
*Willing to carry out equipment cleaning and daily maintenance
