My client is a leading provider of telecom and IoT connectivity solutions, dedicated to empowering businesses with innovative technology. By delivering scalable, efficient, and forward-thinking IoT services, they help organisations enhance operations, improve customer experience, and unlock new revenue streams. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Business Development Executive to generate new business for the company
Business Development Executive
York (3 days office based 2 days WFH)
£30,000-£32,000 Basic
£10,000 OTE
25 days holiday + bank holidays (which rise with length of service)

As a business development executive, you will be responsible for
- Calling data provided in order to generate new business opportunities
- Making qualified appointments for the sales teams
- Following up mailshots, and marketing activities with calls/emails
- Once established in the role, take ownership of managing both new and existing accounts
- To provide additional support for customers as required, for example incoming sales calls, technical support and customer service.
- To pass on leads to other sales colleagues as appropriate
Experience required:
- B2B Sales experience is essential for this position, as we are looking for somebody who is experienced in cold calling, generating business, appointment booking, and someone who is confident in getting past gatekeepers.
- Telecoms experience is beneficial, but not essential.
