Reed Practice is recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant on behalf of a well-regarded accounting firm based in Reading.

The Role
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will:
*Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
*Prepare VAT returns and management accounts
*Support with personal and corporate tax computations
*Liaise directly with clients, building strong working relationships
*Work closely with senior team members and partners to deliver high-quality service
*Begin to review junior staff work and support their development as you progress
About You
You are currently studying towards your ACA or ACCA qualification and:
*Have experience working in a UK accountancy practice
*Possess strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax basics
*Are confident using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
*Have excellent attention to detail and time management skills
*Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
*Are comfortable working in a hybrid setup, with flexibility between office and remote work
