Technical Product Owner / UI Product Engineer

An established London-based SaaS business is looking for a hands-on Technical Product Owner with a strong frontend background to help shape and refine a mature, revenue-generating platform.
The company has been operating for over 20 years and has a stable, collaborative engineering team. They are now focused on improving usability, refining workflows and bringing more structure to how product ideas are captured and delivered.
This role would suit someone who began their career as a Frontend Developer or Product Engineer and has since moved into product ownership, but still enjoys working close to the detail.
What you’ll be doing
*Listening to ideas from stakeholders and customers and shaping them into clear, structured requirements
*Writing detailed product specifications ready for engineering
*Prototyping features and workflows in Figma
*Using modern AI tools to accelerate ideation and early-stage validation
*Working closely with developers to ensure solutions are practical and well-defined
*Improving UI consistency and overall product clarity
*Presenting well-thought-through proposals back to decision-makers
What we’re looking for
*Background in Frontend Development or Product Engineering
*Experience in a Product Owner or Technical Product role
*Strong UI and UX awareness
*Confident writing clear specifications and user stories
*Experience working within a SaaS environment
*Comfortable collaborating in a small, in-person team
