My client is currently seeking a skilled Welder to join their specialist team. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in Mig welding with various materials including Stainless steel.
Mig Welder Job Overview *MIG weld stainless steel and titanium to a high standard, with fine aesthetic and structural quality.
*Weld in inert atmosphere (glovebox) where required for titanium components.
*Operate fabrication equipment including sizing machines, rolling machines, seam welders, and presses.
*Participate in on-vehicle development work, using vehicle lifts to trial and adjust prototype systems in situ.
*Contribute to the design and fabrication of prototype and production tooling to support manufacturing and testing.
*Work closely with engineering and design teams to iterate and develop functional prototype parts.
*Inspect components for dimensional accuracy and overall quality throughout the build process.
Mig Welder Job Requirements *Proven expertise in MIG welding, particularly with stainless steel and titanium.
*Skilled in hand-forming and sheet metal development, particularly in low-volume, prototype, or motorsport environments.
*Comfortable working from verbal briefs and minimal documentation.
*Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing aesthetic, high-integrity welds and components.
*Full, clean UK driving license.
Mig Welder Salary & Benefits *Full time - Permanent position
*Monday to Friday
*Working hours - 8am - 4pm with 30 mins unpaid lunch (37.5 hours per week).
*Salary - £16.12 per hour
