Administrator
*Pay Rate: £13.26 per hr paye
*Location: Rochdale Council
*Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (3 months)
Rochdale Council are looking for a dedicated Administrator to join the Highways, Property, FM, & Business Support Team within the Economy and Place Directorate. This role is crucial for supporting a busy and diverse team in delivering comprehensive administrative, financial, and corporate tasks across various service areas.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide administrative support across all service areas, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of tasks.
*Cover the Property Services Helpdesk as required (operational hours from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday).
*Handle phone calls and emails, liaising with other Council Services, Schools, Suppliers, and Contractors.
*Log, update, and process information in in-service and corporate databases.
*Perform financial tasks including raising purchase orders, processing and raising invoices.
*Undertake general administrative duties as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in an administrative role.
*Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
*Strong communication and organisational skills.
*Effective IT skills with proficiency in database management.
*Awareness of Council financial processes is advantageous.
*Enthusiastic, proactive, and intuitive nature.
