Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger Focus)
Location: Braintree, Essex (CM7)
Salary: Circa £30,000 depending on experience

Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger Focus) Responsibilities
*Accurately inputting invoices into Xero
*Completing supplier statement reconciliations
*Working closely with development and project teams to ensure correct coding and matching of invoices
*Handling incoming supplier calls and resolving invoice queries professionally
*Liaising with suppliers to arrange payments
*Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
*Verifying purchase orders
*Matching payments
*Ensuring confidentiality and maintaining high data accuracy
*Working in a busy work environment
Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger Focus) Requirements
*Access to your own transport (due to office location)
*Around 2+ years’ experience in a Purchase Ledger, Accounts Assistant, or similar role
*Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
*Experience with Xero, or Sage with the ability to learn Xero quickly
*A positive, proactive attitude, with excellent attention to detail
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*A friendly, approachable team player
*Experience working within construction, property development, groundworks or civils would be highly beneficial, but this is not essential.
