Payroll Clerk – Full-Time (Office Based)
£35,000 per annum • Full-Time • Immediate Start Preferred
An established SME within the retail sector is seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their head office team. This is a full-time, fully office-based position, responsible for managing payroll processes for multiple sites across the business.
If you’re confident working in an SME environment and experienced in both computerised and manual payroll processing, this could be the ideal next step for you.
Key Responsibilities
*End-to-end processing of monthly payrolls using Sage 50 Payroll
*Managing Auto Enrolment processes, including NEST Pension
*Inputting timesheets, commissions, and variable data
*General payroll administration, filing, and record maintenance
Requirements
*Experience with both manual and computerised payroll calculations
*Confident with RTI, SMP, SSP, SPP, PAYE, and Auto Enrolment
*Comfortable working in an SME environment, not only large corporate payrolls
*High levels of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
