Building Surveyor (RICS) Remote / Home-Based Gloucestershire £45,000–£55,000
We’re currently looking for an experienced RICS Building Surveyor to join our team and help meet growing demand.
This is an ideal opportunity for an independent surveyor who wants steady, flexible work without the burden of admin, marketing, or client management. We take care of bookings, payments, and all client communication — you focus purely on inspecting, reporting, and getting paid.
The Role
*Undertake 8–10 Level 2 surveys per week
*Surveys completed using an iPad
*Properties are typically 1950–2025 builds, generally in good condition
*We do not undertake Level 3 surveys and actively turn away complex or challenging properties
*Minimal oversight — we’re looking for someone confident and competent in Level 2 surveys
*What We’re Looking For
*AssocRICS or MRICS
*Minimum 5 years’ experience undertaking Level 2 surveys
*Happy working independently in a structured, repeatable role
*Comfortable with a focused scope of work (this role is not suited to those wanting to move into listed or complex buildings)
