Job Description:
Personal Injury Paralegal – Leeds
I am delighted to be working with a leading UK insurance law and claims solutions business to recruit a Fast Track RTA Paralegal/Legal Advisor to join its growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated fee earner with a passion for motorcycles and bike culture to develop their expertise within a well-established, people-focused organisation that partners with major household-name insurers and represents individual claimants nationwide.
The Opportunity
You will support the management of a caseload of Fast Track/MOJ Road Traffic Accident claims, with a particular focus on matters involving motorbikes, mopeds, push bikes and e-scooters. Working under supervision, you will play an active role in progressing cases efficiently, commercially and with a strong emphasis on achieving the right outcome for clients.
This is an ideal role for a non-qualified Legal Advisor or Paralegal with RTA experience who is looking to build litigation exposure within a structured, supportive and high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Assisting with the management of MOJ (Part 8) and Part 7 RTA claims
*Supporting liability and quantum investigations, including:
*Reviewing and analysing medical evidence
*Researching and applying relevant case law
*Drafting schedules of special damages
*Evaluating appropriate compensation awards
*Identifying matters where litigation is tactically advantageous and assisting with progression
*Supporting client advice on settlement strategy, litigation and cost risks
*Contributing to performance targets including profit costs, settlements and case issuance
*Liaising with medical agencies, experts, third-party insurers and other stakeholders to progress claims efficiently
*Attending court hearings where required and assisting with the instruction of Counsel in line with internal procedures
*Ensuring files are managed in accordance with CPR and internal compliance standards
About You
*Experience handling RTA claims (Fast Track/MOJ preferred)
*Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant case law
Formal qualifications (eg CILEX) are advantageous but not essential.
The Firm
My client is a long-established UK legal and insurance services provider with over 30 years’ experience delivering outsourced claims solutions and legal representation across the country. With a workforce of over 1,500 colleagues across multiple office locations, the business combines legal expertise with insurance sector insight to deliver high-quality, efficient claims handling.
The culture is collaborative, inclusive and supportive, underpinned by clear values and a strong investment in professional development. Whether you are building your litigation career or refining your technical expertise, this organisation offers structured training, clear progression routes and a genuinely positive working environment.
Benefits
*25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
*Hybrid working model
*2 paid volunteering days per year
*Matched charity fundraising (up to £250)
*Medicash health cash plan (dental, optical, physio and more)
*Digital physiotherapy, wellbeing tools and fitness resources
*Retail and travel discounts
*Life assurance (4x salary)
*Pension scheme
*Active wellbeing and mental health support network
*Ongoing training and development
*Funded social events
*"Dress for your day" policy
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, forward-thinking organisation where motorcycle expertise is genuinely valued and where your development will be actively supported.
