Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a boutique accountancy practice, who are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team based in the Central London area.

*WORK TYPE: Permanent
*WORK PATTERN: Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
*Oversee and complete accounting assignments from start to finish.
*Examine VAT returns, management accounts, and statutory accounts.
*Use and offer guidance on cloud accounting programs (such as Xero and QuickBooks).
*Oversee, evaluate, and assist junior team members, including providing training.
*Prepare and review working papers and client-ready outputs
*Identify improvements to clients’ systems, processes, and controls
*Monitor budgets and deadlines, escalating issues where required
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
*ACCA/ACA Qualified
*2+ years experience in an accountancy practice
