We are supporting an award-winning financial technology firm in the search for an experienced React Developer to join their engineering team.
Our client is a leading provider of front-office foreign exchange (FX) trading technology, delivering high-performance, low-latency platforms that power billions of dollars in daily transactions for global banks, brokers, and investment firms.
This is a fully remote opportunity (UK or US) offering the chance to work on mission-critical, real-time trading systems.
The Opportunity
As a React Developer, you will play a key role in building and enhancing a next-generation FX trading platform. You’ll work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and end users to develop highly performant, scalable, and intuitive front-end applications.
Key responsibilities include:
*Developing high-performance, real-time trading interfaces
*Building advanced data visualisation components
*Integrating seamlessly with backend services
*Optimising low-latency, performance-critical applications
*Contributing to architectural and technical design decisions
What We’re Looking For
*5+ years’ professional experience with modern React frameworks
*Strong expertise in TypeScript
*Experience working on real-time financial trading systems
*Solid understanding of Google Protocol Buffers (Protobufs) and REST APIs
*Strong communication and collaboration skills
*Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Desirable:
*Knowledge of Java
*Knowledge of SQL
Compensation:
*Competitive salary: £75,000 – £125,000
