ASSISTANT MANAGER, SW12
Salary - £40,000 to £45,000 p.a.
Successful venue in South West London, comprising of a bar, casual dining, brunches and events space requires experienced Assistant Manager who is passionate about hospitality, providing exceptional customer service and who is confident supervising other team members within either a venue, bar or restaurant environment.
Job Description:
Ensure a high level of customer services.
*Leading the team by example to develop high standards and to deliver warm, friendly and confident service.
*Assisting with queries and enquiries and resolving them promptly and efficiently
*Maintain high standards around cleanliness, presentation, and behaviour
*Support and coach the team in real time during service
*Act as Duty Manager.
*Protect safety, licensing, and compliance without it impacting the guest experience
This is a hands-on role. You are expected to be on the floor, leading by example, especially when it’s busy.
We’re looking for someone who cares deeply about people and standards and there is training and prospects available with this role.
Requirements:
*Previous experience as a Restaurant or Bar Supervisor or Assistant Manager.
*Confident leading shifts and supporting teams under pressure
*Understand the difference between service and real hospitality
*Be observant, proactive, and comfortable dealing with guests
*Hold standards consistently, without ego or aggression
*Be reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
*Willing to work evenings and weekends.
