We’re looking for a confident and organised Customer Service Advisor to join our busy quarry operation in Chesterfield. This is a key front-of-house role. You’ll be the first point of contact for drivers, visitors and customers, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely and professionally.
If you’ve worked in hospitality, administration, reception, retail or a customer-facing environment, your skills are highly transferable here.
The Role
This is a customer-facing position in a busy, fast-paced environment where accuracy and professionalism matter.
You’ll be responsible for:
*Welcoming drivers and visitors to site
*Processing vehicle weights using the weighbridge system
*Checking paperwork and ensuring compliance documentation is correct
*Managing Waste Transfer Notes and site records
*Inputting data accurately onto internal systems
*Communicating clearly with site teams and customers
*Ensuring visitors follow site Health & Safety procedures
You’ll play an important part in keeping the operation organised, compliant and running efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
*Strong customer service experience
*Confident communication skills
*Good IT skills and comfortable using multiple systems
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Calm, professional approach under pressure
*Organised and methodical
Experience within waste, recycling, quarrying or industrial environments is helpful, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
