We are urgently seeking dedicated Agency Support Workers to provide consistent long day and night cover. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a supportive, structured service where your skills truly make a difference.

About the Support Worker Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being. You will work closely with residents, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a caring and compassionate approach, have strong communication skills, and be able to work confidently both independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team. You will be flexible, reliable, and committed to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for those in your care.


Candidate Responsibilities*Support individuals with their daily routines

*Maintain accurate records and documentation
*Follow care plans, safeguarding, and health & safety guidelines
*Work flexibly across long day and night shifts as required

Key Skills & Requirements*Minimum 6-12 months UK experience in a Support Worker role
*Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
*Ability to follow instructions and individual care plans
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Flexibility to work a range of shifts
*Based in, or willing to work in, Workington, Cumbria
