Job Description:
Responsibilities:
*Source, evaluate, and execute investments in landscape and seascape restoration projects across the UK
*Conduct commercial and financial due diligence on restoration opportunities, assessing revenue potential from ecosystem service agreements
*Build investment-grade financial models incorporating long-term contracted payments from corporate buyers, water companies, and other offtakers
*Structure deals and negotiate terms with project developers, landowners, and ecosystem service purchasers
*Develop investment cases and present opportunities to the investment committee
*Monitor portfolio company performance across financial, environmental, and social KPIs
*Build and maintain relationships with corporates seeking to secure ecosystem services critical to their operations
*Identify market opportunities as the payment for ecosystem services framework evolves
Requirements:
*Strong experience in infrastructure equity, real estate equity, private equity, or growth equity
*Strong financial modelling, valuation, and deal structuring skills
*Proven track record of sourcing, executing, and managing investments
*Experience conducting commercial due diligence and negotiating transaction terms
*Genuine interest in transitioning investment skills toward environmental and social impact
