Finance Analyst (FP&A team)

£40,000 – 45,000 plus
(+bonus + good benefits, hybrid working – minimum 3 days a week in Stevenage )


StormX Recruitment are delighted to be supporting the hire of a Finance Analyst into a dynamic finance team based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced environment, where you’ll support the FP&A Manager and work closely with site teams and senior stakeholders.
You’ll play a key role in improving reporting, driving insight, and influencing decision-making across this site.
*Act as a key member of the FP&A team and deputise for the FP&A Manager when required
*Deliver accurate, insightful financial data to support decision making
*Partner with operational teams to improve performance and reporting
*Drive continuous improvement across reporting, systems, and processes
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analysis
*Analyse variances vs forecast and identify true performance drivers
*Product cost analysis, including claims/rejections and reconciliations
*Support Cost of Sales reporting during month-end
*Enhance BI reporting and support stakeholders with data insights
Budgeting & Forecasting
*Contribute to budgeting and forecasting across all areas of production.

About You
*Part-qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or QBE
*Experience in a fast-paced environment
*Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
*Confident communicator, able to influence at all levels
*A core grounding in accountancy and finance.
