My client is a top-tier proprietary trading firm lookifg to expand their business in London. They are seeking experienced Quantitative Traders specialising in high-frequency trading (HFT). This is an opportunity to trade with significant autonomy within a well-capitalised, technology-driven environment designed for latency-sensitive strategies.
The firm operates a pod-based structure, where each team owns its strategies end-to-end and is directly rewarded for performance. They are open to individual senior hires looking to build out their own team, as well as established teams with a proven track record.
Key Responsibilities *Design, develop, and deploy HFT strategies in cash equities or futures
*Manage strategies across the full lifecycle: research, production, risk, and optimisation
*Continuously monitor and improve performance, robustness, and scalability
*Work closely with technology teams to optimise latency and execution performance
*Take full ownership of PnL within a pod structure
Requirements *5+ years’ experience trading HFT strategies in a professional proprietary or systematic environment
*Proven track record of high ROC strategies with a Sharpe ratio consistently above 5
*Deep understanding of market microstructure and execution dynamics
*Experience trading cash equities and/or futures
*Strong quantitative, statistical, and programming skills
*Ability to operate independently and manage risk at scale
Technology & Infrastructure *Access to a market-leading, low-latency trading platform
