PAYE Umbrella Account Manager
Location: Office-Based
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced PAYE Umbrella Account Manager to join our growing payroll team. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable payroll professional who thrives on building strong client relationships, managing key accounts, and delivering a consistently high standard of service within a fast-paced environment.
As a key member of the business, you will take ownership of recruitment agency relationships, act as a trusted advisor on PAYE and umbrella payroll matters, and support contractors throughout their engagement. Key Responsibilities
*Act as the primary point of contact for recruitment agency partners and associated contractor accounts
*Provide accurate, compliant, and timely guidance on PAYE and umbrella payroll processes
*Manage and develop client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
*Identify opportunities to grow accounts and improve service delivery
*Support contractors with onboarding, payroll queries, and ongoing account management
*Ensure adherence to HMRC regulations, IR35 requirements, and payroll compliance standards
*Deliver a professional, end-to-end service experience for all stakeholders
Skills & Experience
*Proven experience within PAYE and umbrella payroll
*Strong understanding of HMRC legislation, IR35, and payroll compliance
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
*Confidence managing recruitment agency and contractor accounts
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Proactive, customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
