Key Account Manager – Umbrella Services | B2B Sales£30,000 basic + commission | £45,000 OTE
Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:30
Accomplish Today is recruiting on behalf of an award-winning Umbrella Services provider seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their B2B Sales team in Altrincham. This role is ideal for a Sales Account Manager or Client Relationship Manager with proven Umbrella industry experience.
Key Account Manager – Role OverviewThe successful Key Account Manager will be responsible for account management, business development, and client retention across a portfolio of recruitment agency clients. Working closely with the Key Account Director, you will drive revenue growth, increase referrals, and strengthen long-term client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing and developing key accounts within the Umbrella Services sector
*Supporting the Key Account Director with strategic account growth
*Building and maintaining strong B2B relationships with recruitment agencies
*Increasing consultant referrals and inbound enquiries
*Acting as the main point of contact for account management and client support
*Working with internal teams to resolve queries and improve client experience
*Attending face-to-face client meetings and industry hospitality events
Candidate Profile – Key Account ManagerTo succeed in this Key Account Manager / B2B Sales role, you will be commercially driven with strong sales, account management, and customer service skills.
You will have:
*Strong B2B sales experience and account management capability
*Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
*Confident communication, negotiation, and active listening skills
*A consultative sales approach with a focus on client retention
*Strong organisational and time management skills
Essential Skills & Experience*Minimum 12 months’ sales or account management experience within the Umbrella industry (essential)
*Experience in B2B sales, account management, or field sales
*Proven ability to exceed sales targets, call targets, or KPIs
*Experience in a role combining sales and client support
*GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
Salary, Benefits & Progression*£30,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission
*Realistic £45,000 OTE
*Funded professional qualifications with up to 6 days paid study leave
