About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly capable IFA Administrator to provide comprehensive support to their advisers within a well-established wealth management environment.
This is a pivotal role within the business. You will play a key part in ensuring advisers are fully supported across client servicing, new business processing and ongoing investment administration. The position requires someone confident managing complex cases and working across a wide range of wealth management products and platforms.
This is not a junior opportunity. Our client is looking for someone with solid experience who can operate independently and bring stability and expertise to the team.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide day-to-day administrative and client support to IFAs.
· Prepare client valuations, review documentation and supporting paperwork for suitability reports.
· Submit, monitor and chase new business applications through to completion.
· Process pensions, ISAs, GIAs, bonds and protection cases.
· Manage fund switches, withdrawals, transfers and investment transactions.
· Maintain accurate client records in line with FCA and GDPR requirements.
· Liaise with clients, providers, platforms and discretionary fund managers to ensure efficient case progression.
· Support advisers with ongoing servicing and review processes.
· Ensure all compliance and regulatory documentation is accurate and up to date.
Requirements
· Minimum 2+ years’ experience supporting IFAs within a wealth management environment.
· Strong working knowledge of pensions, investments and platform-based business.
· Experience handling investment and wealth management cases from start to finish.
· Confident dealing directly with providers and platforms.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and common back-office/IFA systems.
· Industry qualifications (CII) desirable but not essential.
