Job Description:
Reed.ai is looking for a part time Product Director to join their team in Holborn, London on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Overview We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Product Director to lead the growth of Reed.ai as it transitions from Beta to full market release. This is a fixed-term maternity cover (part-time, 3 days per week) role.
You will manage a small Product and CX team and drive prioritisation for the wider engineering team to deliver a roadmap that achieves product-market fit, user adoption, and long-term innovation. While you won’t directly manage engineering, your strong technical background will enable you to play a critical role in technical prioritisation and solution design.
As a key member of the Reed.ai leadership team, you’ll report directly to the board and contribute to strategic business decisions beyond product delivery. Key Responsibilities *Own and deliver the product roadmap , balancing customer needs, business priorities, and long-term technical strategy.
*Adapt roadmap with agility to respond to user feedback, market trends, and evolving business goals.
*Lead a cross-functional Product and CX team to deliver new features,enhancements, proofs of concept, and experiments.
*Shape long-term product and business strategy, aligning with company vision and growth objectives.
*Monitor product performance using KPIs, analytics, and qualitative feedback to drive continuous improvement.
*Improve BAU operations, including support, maintenance, and user engagement strategies.
*Manage and develop the CX and Product Executive, ensuring operational excellence and positive customer outcomes.
*Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure successful product adoption and customer satisfaction.
*Stay ahead of AI and recruitment technology trends to inform product strategy and
*maintain competitive advantage.
*Champion user-centric design and data-driven decision-making across the product lifecycle.
Skills and Experience *Proven experience as a Product Director or equivalent senior product leadership role, ideally in a tech startup or innovation-led environment.
*Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong understanding of end-to-end product lifecycle management, from MVP to scale.
*Technical fluency, able to review architecture and define technical approaches for new features.
*Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies for both product development and customer-facing features.
*Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of data-informed decision-making.
*Experience managing customer experience or operational functions.
*Understanding of product design principles, testing methodologies, and success metrics.
*Background in SaaS or B2B product environments is highly desirable.
*Recruitment or HR tech experience is helpful but not essential
