RTA Paralegal – Leeds
I am delighted to be working on behalf of a well-established, nationally recognised UK law firm with an outstanding reputation in insurance litigation and recovery services. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an experienced RTA Litigated Recovery Fee Earner / Paralegal to manage a high-volume caseload of litigated recovery matters.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of litigated RTA recovery files, delivering robust and quality-driven claims handling with a strong focus on maximising recoveries within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing a high-volume caseload of litigated recovery matters in accordance with internal procedures and best practice
*Ensuring the firm’s Case Management System is consistently updated and fully utilised
*Progressing cases proactively using all appropriate communication channels
*Providing professional, timely and commercially focused legal advice to source and lay clients, managing expectations throughout
*Taking a practical and commercial approach to settlements, advising clients clearly on risk
*Working towards and exceeding performance targets relating to recoveries and lifecycle management, without compromising integrity
*Liaising effectively with sources, experts, third-party insurers and other relevant stakeholders
*Performing to a high standard within a target-driven environment
*Supporting wider team and business objectives as required
About You
The firm is keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
*Previous experience managing a caseload of RTA litigated recovery or ULR claims, or hands-on experience handling key tasks within such cases
*Knowledge of liability issues, including the Road Traffic Act and Article 75
*Experience dealing with customers or stakeholders in a client-focused environment
*Strong negotiation and communication skills
*Competence using case management systems and MS Office
*Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
*A commitment to delivering high-quality service to both clients and the wider business
