SEN Teaching Assistant – New Ash Green, Kent
Location: New Ash Green, Kent
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay: £88–£92 per day
Contract: Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a school based in New Ash Green, Kent. This role is ideal for someone with proven SEN experience who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities – SEN Teaching Assistant:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
*Support children with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
*Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
*Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
*Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children with SEN – essential
*Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs
*Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
