Role Overview
We are seeking a Corporate Solicitor with 0-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join a high-performing Corporate & Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to advance their career within a sizeable firm that handles a diverse range of corporate transactions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Corporate Solicitor, you will:
*Advise on all aspects of company law, including private company mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, management buyouts (MBOs), and management buy-ins (MBIs).
*draught and negotiate joint venture agreements, investor/shareholder agreements, articles of association, and other constitutional documents.
*Assist in demergers, company reconstructions, and reorganisations.
*Get involved in AIM flotations, takeovers, and other public company work.
*Handle commercial lending, security, financing, and refinancing of businesses.
*Collaborate with a team representing acquirers, private equity and VCT funds, founders, management teams, and funders on high-profile deals in the Solent and Thames Valley region.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who possess:
*Admission to the Solicitor Roll.
*A 2:1 degree or higher (preferred).
*A completed seat in a Corporate & Commercial team or relevant experience in corporate law, ideally up to 3 years PQE.
*Confidence in managing a full range of corporate processes and transactions.
*A strong technical background and the ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
