Job Description:
Delighted to be working once more with this high profile manufacturing business, who due to a restructure are seeking a proactive Finance Manager to lead a team of six and drive operational excellence across the finance function. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is passionate about improving processes, strengthening controls, and supporting production teams with high-quality financial insight.

Key responsibilities will be as follows:

*Lead, mentor, and develop a team of six finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

*Oversee all day-to-day finance operations, including management accounts.

*Drive process improvement initiatives across finance and operational workflows, identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.

*Strengthen internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

*Identify cost-saving initiatives, including margin analysis, waste reduction, and productivity improvements.

*Support strategic projects such as system upgrades, automation, and operational transformation.

You will ideally be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent with proven experience managing and developing a small finance team, excellent analytical skills with a mindset for continuous improvement and a great communicator who can challenge the status quo, influence stakeholders at all levels and drive change.

Naturally someone with experience in manufacturing, engineering, or similar operational environments would suit well, however open to other profiles if the above qualities are demonstrated.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the finance function and make a measurable impact on operational performance, working with a hugely supportive leadership team that values innovation and efficiency. In return you will be offered a highly competitive salary and benefits package (DOE) along with hybrid working and other wider benefits

Interviews to commence w/c 2nd March so please do apply without delay.
