A leading global consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their established Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity to take a technical leadership role within a highly respected multidisciplinary environment, delivering design solutions on major infrastructure and development projects.
The Role
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in leading geotechnical design, managing complex projects, and providing technical guidance across a diverse project portfolio.
You will be responsible for:
*Leading geotechnical design for major infrastructure and development schemes
*Managing and delivering complex ground engineering projects
*Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers
*Overseeing ground investigation strategies and interpretative reporting
*Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across large-scale projects
*Supporting project management, client liaison, and technical delivery
Requirements
*Proven experience in geotechnical design within a consultancy environment
*Strong background in leading projects and delivering technical solutions
*Experience working within large, multidisciplinary teams
*Excellent technical reporting and communication skills
*Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
*Chartered or working towards chartership (preferred)
