Job Description:
Are you an experienced Purchasing Officer looking for a new opportunity in Glasgow? Join a dynamic organisation in the Glasgow area and play a key role in delivering a professional, compliant procurement processes.
Location: Glasgow – Excellent public transport links
Working Style: Hybrid working available after probation
Salary: £26000 + Excellent pension, onsite gym, free parking
Key Responsibilities:
*Execute all regular purchasing duties and associated administrative processes with accuracy and professionalism
*Ensure a constant supply of high-quality goods and services
*Source, select, and negotiate the best purchase packages in terms of quality, price, delivery, and service with suppliers
*Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
*Implement and manage third-party logistics
*Provide regular feedback on Approved Vendor performance
*Occasional travel as required
*Undertake other tasks relevant to the role as needed
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
Previous purchasing experience
Desirable:
Strong communication skills
Confidence with Microsoft Excel
