Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly numerate and motivated Pricing Analyst to join a leading Pricing team. You will play a key role in supporting the development of pricing models for annuity business, including bulk annuities, and helping the team deliver accurate and insightful analysis across a range of projects. Key Responsibilities: *Support the development and maintenance of scalable pricing models for annuity business within agreed risk tolerances.
*Prepare, analyse, and investigate policyholder data to inform pricing, addressing gaps and inconsistencies as needed.
*Conduct experience investigations to identify factors influencing pricing assumptions.
*Assist with valuation reporting, including Solvency II, UK GAAP, and IFRS17.
*Undertake ad hoc tasks as required to support departmental objectives.
Core Competencies:

Mandatory: *Studying towards FIA (OR given up exams)
*Experience in data analysis with the ability to investigate and resolve data issues independently
*Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Word
*Clear communication skills with the ability to propose solutions and work independently while seeking support when needed
*Good time management with the ability to meet deadlines
*Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Desirable: *Knowledge of UK Defined Benefit pensions and reinsurance structures
*Understanding of actuarial concepts related to annuity pricing and valuation
