Job Description:
London based Investment Bank seek a Murex Front Office Business Analyst / Configurator – Contract6-month rolling | £700–800/day Inside IR35 | Hybrid (3 days London) Our client is seeking an experienced Murex Front Office BA/Configurator to deliver key enhancements across trading, pricing, and risk functions within a leading financial institution.
Key Responsibilities - Configure and support Murex Front Office modules (trading, pricing, market data, risk). - Deliver enhancements and ensure system stability and optimisation. - Provide 2nd/3rd line support as part of a rota. - Implement regulatory-driven changes and ensure compliance. - Gather and translate business requirements; perform gap analysis. - Lead testing (SIT, integration, UAT) and defect management. - Partner with Front Office, IT, and vendors; support and train users. - Drive continuous improvement and adopt latest Murex best practices.
Skills & Experience - Strong expertise in Murex FO configuration , MxML workflows, data mapping, scripting, and automation. - Experience with curve configuration, pre-trade workflows, Datamart, pricing templates, simulation views, indexes, and basic EOD/GOM. - Solid understanding of front office trading processes , pricing, order management, and market data flows. - Knowledge of regulatory impacts on FO functions and performance optimisation. - Experience integrating Murex with external systems and building Datamart reports/dashboards.
Example Project Exposure - Front office enhancements and new feature rollouts. - Advanced pricing model and risk tool configuration across asset classes. - Regulatory change delivery. - Performance tuning, database optimisation, and Murex upgrades.
