This is a newly created position that has been created to support the Financial Controller.
Day to day, working in a small team, you’ll report into the Financial Controller and be responsible for the stock valuation and margin review.
We love working with this company, the Financial Controller is a great mentor and is someone who will really help you develop your skill set.
In terms of your background, you’ll need to have experience with stock accounting and have a very analytical skill set.
Below is a small overview of what you’ll be doing;
*Preparation and review of the Sales and Cost of Sales Reconciliations leading to full product wide margin analysis
*Preparation of the stock reconciliation and analysis
*Preparation of monthly cost of materials
*Reporting on site overheads and daily production to ascertain overhead costs per tonne of production
*Consumables review and calculation including chemicals, wire and packaging
*Shipping analysis and accruals
*Assisting with production of accurate and timely management accounts for all legal entities
*Work with the support functions to prepare the monthly management accounts
*Assisting with production of monthly reforecasts, annual budgets and long-range plans, working with the leadership teams across the UK
*Prepare key KPI’s (incl. Profitability, sales growth and overheads) for key monthly variances and prepare meaningful commentary for leadership
*Improve and maintain periodic cash flow forecasting
