*Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and delivery standards.
*Analyse purchasing data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
*Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with business objectives.
*Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
*Manage inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stock shortages.
Profile
A successful Buyer should have:
*Previous experience in procurement or buying, ideally within the FMCG or retail industry.
*Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
*Proficiency in analysing data and using it to inform purchasing decisions.
*Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Confidence in communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
