We are recruiting a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a high-volume, multi-warehouse operation handling national deliveries, multiple shift patterns and fast-moving stock. This role is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who excels in people management, operational control, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead all warehouse, goods-in, pick/pack, replenishment and despatch operations
*Manage multiple warehouses on one site and oversee multi-shift teams
*Ensure accurate, on-time despatch and high-quality order fulfilment
*Drive improvements in pick accuracy, throughput, labour efficiency and cost per pick
*Manage courier and transport performance
*Optimise warehouse layout, space utilisation and stock flow
*Lead Team Leaders and develop a high-performance culture
*Ensure safety compliance, training and operational standards
*Deliver continuous-improvement projects supported by data and ROI
Skills & Experience
*Proven experience managing large, fast-paced warehouse operations
*Strong people-management and leadership skills
*Experience with courier/fleet operations and warehouse flow
*ERP/WMS experience
*Strong understanding of labour productivity, capacity planning and cost control
*Lean/CI experience is desirable
*Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Salary & Benefits
*£45,000 - £50,000 DOE
