Join our team as a Housing Resolutions Officer and support households on their journey from temporary accommodation to long-term, sustainable housing.
About the Role
As a Housing Resolutions Officer, you will provide tailored housing options advice to households in temporary accommodation, ensuring they have every opportunity to move into settled housing — including private rented, intermediate, and social housing options.

Support residents to understand and navigate intermediate, private rented, and social housing pathways.

Work with the Housing Assessment & Lettings Team to monitor bidding activity and help households make informed choices.

Refer and signpost households to relevant services (e.g. employment, training, children’s services, adult care).

Provide guidance on welfare reform impacts, benefit entitlements, and employment opportunities.

Ensure all accommodation offers comply with legislation and the Suitability Order.

Issue temporary accommodation offers and suitability letters.

Support tenancy audits, resolve complaints, and liaise with accommodation providers to maintain service standards.
