We’re now looking for a skilled MET Technician to join our expanding team in Preston.
What You’ll Be Doing

As an MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician, you’ll play a key role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition. Your responsibilities will include:


*Dismantling and reassembling mechanical, electrical, and trim components with precision and care
*Performing four-wheel alignment checks and repairs using manufacturer-recommended methods
*Ensuring vehicles are properly protected throughout the repair process
*Collaborating with Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Production teams to ensure efficient workflows
*Adhering to health and safety standards, including COSHH requirements and appropriate PPE usage
*Working with electric vehicles and staying updated on emerging vehicle technologies
About You

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a team environment. Ideally, you’ll have:


*IMI/ATA MET Technician qualification (or equivalent experience in a Bodyshop environment)
*Proven experience in accident repair and vehicle rebuilds
*A full UK driving licence (required)
*The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
*A strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
*Knowledge and/or experience working with electric vehicles is a plus
