Job Description:
A well-established national law firm is seeking a Partner to lead and develop its Corporate & Commercial practice in London.

This is a replacement hire and a genuine leadership opportunity within a firm that combines national scale with a distinctly relationship-driven culture.

*Strong internal referral network across Employment, Property, Private Client and International teams
Leadership remains visible and engaged in client matters, and the firm promotes a collegiate rather than hierarchical structure.

The Role

You will lead a 7-lawyer Corporate & Commercial team in London and will be responsible for:
*Providing strategic direction to the team
*Driving revenue growth and profitability
*Developing external referral networks
*Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers
*Strengthening the London market profile
The client base includes:
*SMEs and owner-managed businesses
*Family offices and private wealth-adjacent clients
*Agri-sector clients
*Cross-border corporate interests
The work is expected to be well balanced across both corporate and commercial matters.

Ideal Profile
*Partner, Legal Director or ambitious Senior Associate ready to step up
*Strong experience across both corporate and commercial
*Comfortable generating new business
*Entrepreneurial and growth-focused
*Not reliant on centrally fed work streams

A portable following is welcomed but not essential. Demonstrable appetite for business development is key.
