Role Description
A Cambridge-based independent firm is currently looking for a general practice accounts junior to join their close-knit team. This is a great opportunity for a junior accountant who is looking to develop with study support & training and get a wide exposure across Accounts, Tax and Audit.
What’s in it for you?
*Study support for both AAT & ACCA
*35 hour working week
*Broad exposure across accounts, audit and tax for a general practice portfolio including charities, property, and manufacturing
*Consistent mentorship with managers being in the office full time.
What you’ll do:
*Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts
*Helping with audit testing
*Assisting with drafting personal and corporate tax returns
*Liaising with clients to resolve queries and request information
*Assisting with drafting VAT returns
What you’ll need:
*1-2 Years experience in UK accountancy practice
