Wonderland Wedding Venues (WWV) is one of the UK’s fastest-growing wedding and events groups, with nine stunning venues nationwide and ambitious plans for further expansion. The Role
We’re seeking a highly organised, proactive Event Manager to become the heartbeat of our busy London events venue. This hands-on role is central to delivering seamless events from initial enquiry through to final guest departure.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage client relationships from booking through to live event delivery
*Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers and internal teams
*Coordinate suppliers, caterers, production teams and venue staff
*Oversee event logistics, timelines, turnarounds and order-of-the-day planning
*Be a calm, professional presence on event days, solving issues proactively
*Support bar operations, guest experience and venue flow
*Set up and support photographic shoots and creative clients
*Maintain accurate systems, schedules and communications
*Collaborate with the wider venue group to share best practice
The Ideal Candidate
You’re an organised, personable Event Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. You genuinely enjoy making memorable moments happen and take pride in delivering high-quality events. About you:
*Passion for events, weddings and hospitality
*Confidence managing multiple clients and suppliers
*A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
*Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability
*Experience in venue, hospitality or event management
*Strong interpersonal skills and client-facing confidence
*Leadership qualities and experience motivating teams
*Knowledge of bar operations, stock management and licensing (desirable, not essential)
