As an Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior, you will split your time between accounts and audit work, gaining exposure to a broad client base from ambitious owner-managed businesses through to groups turning over £50m.
This is not a narrow, repetitive role. It is a hands-on Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior position where you will build relationships, develop technically and take real ownership of your work - all within a firm recognised for high-quality training and professional development.
Responsibilities:
*Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across varied sectors
*Draft corporation tax and business tax computations
*Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
*Prepare VAT returns and management accounts
*Support and deliver audits from planning through to completion
*Work closely with managers as part of an experienced audit team
The Ideal Candidate:
*Practice experience across accounts preparation and audit assignments
*Confident preparing statutory financial statements for owner-managed businesses
*Comfortable communicating with clients face to face, by phone and email
*Strong Excel and general IT skills
*Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
*Keen eye for detail and a solutions-focused mindset

*£35,000 to £39,000
