Job Description:
Service Care Solutions is working in partnership with a well-regarded Local Authority, based in Derby, which is looking to recruit an experienced Property Lawyer to join their busy and supportive legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated property lawyer seeking a varied and rewarding role within the public sector.
Role: Property Lawyer
Location: Derby - Hybrid Working Available - Local Authority
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Umbrella Rate: £55 - £57ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £48.41 - £50.15ph
Key Responsibilities:
*The role will involve handling a range of transactional and advisory property work, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters (commercial and residential), leases, licences, deeds, and associated property documentation.
*Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, leases, transfers, licences and related documentation.
*Attending meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners (virtually and in person as required).
Key Requirements:
*3+ years of PQE in property law as a solicitor in England and Wales.
*Experience of local government property work is desirable but not essential.
*The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
